Free URI/Job Lot Seed Program for New Englanders

New England Residents!

Wow, wow, Wow! What is not to love about the OH SO GENEROUS URI/Job Lot FREE SEED Program. The University of Rhode with the help of Job Lot gave out a whopping 200,000 FREE SEED packets this Febuary! They also sent a bunch to Puerto Rico! Here is a link if you want to know more about the program. It's available to anyone or any organization (schools and clubs) that are interested in growing their own produce! It's too late to claim seeds for 2018 but make sure if you didn't take part this year you get in the mix for 2019. Order forms are filled out late Nov/Dec each year.

Not only does URI roll out this amazing seed program.....they also provide a FREE seed starting class for residents on seed pick up day! My favorite EG mom friend and I attended the seed class and it was very cool!

Here is a photo of my seed order. Some of my seeds are going to Lyme Disease patients who may be interested in growing their own herbs and veggies in their homes. Many of the seed packets are sufficient for indoor small pots and window sunlight growing.

What a program! AWESOME! Ya'll please, if you need any gardening items please consider giving Job Lot the business! I've never seen a company give back to their community like this!
