Ok so really where to I even begin with how fabulous the YMCA org is....You can find a spot about them in my book but for now let me just brag a little about how much my family loves the Y! If you are not a member of the Y in your community you and your family are totally missing out! Where else can you go every day as a stay at home or work from home mom, and get TWO FREE (included in your modest monthly membership fee) hours of childcare, where? Our local Y has a small business type area so you have the choice to either work out, do admin, or heck you can even shower while your baby is safely being cared for! I did the math and if you utilised these amazing services on a daily basis, the bill comes to about 75 cents or less for childcare per day! What the what? In that same fee bucket your also getting access to saunas, gym equipment, showers, computers, low cost classes, free events for the entire family and so much more! Speaking of free events we are so excited for the upcoming YMCA Halloween events @ the Kent County RI location! This year they are offering free 'Swimming with the Pumpkins' and a fun 'Trunk or Treat' experience for just $5.00 per child. These events will be held on none other than SPOOKY Friday the 13th, well played Y, well played! You may or may not see a Trunk or Treat car sponsored by author Jan Cornell this year ❤ We have participated in the free Swimming with the Pumpkins before and boy is it fun! The kids have a blast and they each get to keep an inflatable medium sized pumpkin beach type ball that they retrieve from the pool!
